Generative Swab A.K.A. Python Swab
Generative Swab was developed to address the global shortage and to ensure that Singapore has a sustainable supply of these swabs. The design concept behind Generative Swab was then adopted and further refined by NUS CUTE Centre which gave birth to the Python Swab, a local design and 3D printed swab which was tested and proven to be comparable to the Copan (Industrial Standard) Swabs.
Generative Swab A.K.A Python Swab was eventually filed for Patent Protection under PCT/SG2021/050239 for International Patent and 30202109207Q for European Union Intellectual Property Office.
